Kevin & Linda Take On the Camino Portuguese!

If you’ve been following our Blink Local Support stories over the past couple of years, you’ll likely remember our incredible patients, Kevin and Linda Clarke.

Back in 2024, they completed a grueling 900km cycle along the Camino del Norte and Camino Primitivo in memory of their dear friend Pat, raising vital funds for Strathcarron Hospice along the way.

Now, at 74 years young, they are back in the saddle for their fifth Camino - and team Blink could not be prouder to sponsor them once again!

One More Ride for Strathcarron Hospice ❤️

Strathcarron Hospice holds a very special place in our hearts at Blink. The compassionate, dedicated care they provide to local families across Central Scotland during life’s most difficult moments is nothing short of extraordinary.

Initially Kevin and Linda had planned to ride the Coastal Camino Portuguese quietly for themselves. However, after reading a moving account of how much Strathcarron had helped a member of their church parish community facing a heartbreaking loss, they looked at each other and agreed - they had one more fundraising Camino left in them!

Setting off on 31st August 2026 - their 52nd wedding anniversary, they are tackling over 300km and approximately 3,000 meters of climbing from Porto in Portugal up to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.
