Supporting SCRFC Minis for a Weekend of Team Building and Adventure

At Blink, we believe supporting local is about far more than just business - it’s about backing the people, clubs, and experiences that help young members of our community grow in confidence, build friendships, and create memories that last a lifetime.

That’s why we were delighted to support the Stirling County RFC Minis 2026 Tour - and even prouder to see the Blink logo travelling with the squad on their fantastic tour hoodies.

A Misty Start at Bridgehaugh

It was a misty start to the weekend, with the haar sitting thick over the Forth as players and coaches gathered at Bridgehaugh Park ready to head off on tour, with plenty of parents there to wave them off. Despite the weather, there was no hiding the excitement.

The players and coaches were presented with their official tour hoodies - and we have to say, they looked brilliant. There was a real buzz around the club as bags were packed onto buses and the countdown to adventure began.

More Than Just Rugby

The tour was a huge undertaking, with 52 enthusiastic young players and 11 dedicated coaches making the journey south to Newby Wiske Hall in North Yorkshire.

While rugby was obviously at the heart of the trip, weekends like this are about so much more than what happens on the pitch.

From singing songs on the bus and late-night chats with teammates to tackling new challenges together, tours like these help build confidence, resilience, friendships, and team spirit in a way that regular training sessions simply can’t.

The players threw themselves into a packed weekend of outdoor activities including:

  • Adrenaline-pumping zip lines and high-rope obstacle courses

  • Survival skills deep in the Yorkshire woods

  • Team-building challenges and outdoor adventures

  • Plenty of laughter, muddy trainers, and unforgettable memories

By the end of the weekend, tired legs and weary faces suggested the kids had squeezed every possible minute out of the experience!

The Gala Minis Festival

After two nights of outdoor adventure, the squads travelled back north to the Borders on Sunday to put their teamwork into action at the Gala Minis Festival.

It’s fair to say that after such a busy weekend, energy levels may have been running a little low for some players - but they dug deep, worked hard for each other, and represented Stirling County brilliantly.

Back to Bridgehaugh

The weekend concluded with a traditional awards ceremony back at Bridgehaugh Park in Stirling, celebrating the players who showed exceptional effort, teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the tour.

There was also the traditional handover of the SCRFC Minis Tour Mascot. The famous Wolfie - looking very smart in his County strip - was officially handed over by the current P7 Tour Captain to the newly announced captain for next year’s P7 tour.

A proud moment that celebrates the continuity and spirit of the club - a spirit we are so glad to support.

Laura headed down to the Bridgehaugh to welcome the tour party home and congratulate everyone involved. Pictured with Minis Convener Dave Livesey and members of the P7 squad, it was clear to see how much the weekend had meant to everyone.

Spot the Blink logo 👀

Every player and coach headed off wearing their custom tour hoodies, complete with the Blink Bridge of Allan logo proudly displayed on the sleeve.

So if you spot one of the hoodies around Stirling or Bridge of Allan over the coming months, you’ll know it represents a pretty special weekend.

Proud to Support out Community

At Blink, we’re proud to support local clubs, organisations, and community projects that make Bridge of Allan and Stirling such great places to live.

A huge well done to all the players, coaches, volunteers, and parents who made the 2026 SCRFC Minis Tour such a success - and thank you for allowing Blink to be a small part of it.

We can’t wait to see what this brilliant group of young players achieve next!
