Ray-Ban Pop-Up Shop at Blink
Back in March we hosted a Ray-Ban Pop-Up Shop at Blink and what a fun time we had! From iconic styles to cutting-edge tech, the event was a brilliant celebration of one of the world’s most loved eyewear brands.
Our pop-up shop offered a rare chance to explore the FULL Ray-Ban collection right here in Bridge of Allan - every opthalmic frame, every pair of sunglasses, all in one place! Our stands were filled with classic Ray-Ban favourites - Wayfarers, Clubmasters, Aviators and lots of bold, fashion-forward pieces perfect for summer adventures. But the real head-turners were definitely the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses!
The Ray-Ban rep was there to share his expert knowledge and give some polished demos of the Metas. And we were also fortunate enough to have Stewart from Nikon with us, giving his expert lens advice.
The Ray-Ban Metas
We had a great time showcasing the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and giving everyone that came along the chance to try them on and experience what they can do. These incredibly clever frames are so much more than just good-looking specs! With built-in cameras, open-ear audio, and voice control powered by Meta AI, they’ve truly redefined what glasses can do. Allowing you to capture, connect, and listen on the go - Meta glasses bring smart tech to your everyday life - seamlessly and in style!
They were without a doubt the talking point of the day, and since then, we’ve had amazing feedback from customers who’ve taken the plunge. One happy patient told us it’s like having a personal soundtrack to their life as they play their favourite tunes down low throughout the day. Another shared how brilliant it is to capture spontaneous snaps of her kids, hands-free and in the moment, without fumbling for her phone.
Our Meta Smart Glasses Giveaway
Anyone who purchased a pair of Ray-Ban glasses at the Pop-Up Shop was entered into a prize draw to WIN a FREE pair of Ray-Ban Meta AI Smart Glasses and a week or so later the lucky winner was announced: Tracey Martin!
Tracey opted for the classic Matt Black Wayfarers with polarised lenses and went for them "plano" (optician speak for no prescription). After a fun demo from Mandy, she was absolutely buzzing to explore all the clever features the specs offer including voice control and hands free photos!
The bonus of having them plano...? Anyone can wear them! You can have up to 8 devices connected to the smart glasses so its easy to switch between users. The downside...? Anyone can wear them 🤣 so everyone wants to get their hands on them!
But don’t worry, if you need prescription lenses, Ray-Ban Meta frames can absolutely be fitted with your prescription! That way they really are just for you!
